• Add notes, lists, photos, and audio to Keep.
• Organize your notes with labels and colors.
• Set and forget. Get reminded about a note at the right time or place.
• Record a voice memo and have it automatically transcribed.
• Grab the text from an image to help you quickly find that note again through search.

Need to remember to pick up some groceries? Set a location-based reminder to pull up your grocery list right when you get to the store. Need to finish a to-do? Set a time-based reminder to make sure you never miss a thing.

Next time you go to the store, share your shopping list on Keep and watch as items get checked off in real time. No need for text messages back and forth. Get things done together, faster.

Quickly filter and search for notes by color and other attributes like lists with the label “To-dos”, audio notes with reminders or just see shared notes. Find what you're looking for even faster, and let Keep do the remembering for you.

Keep works on your phone, tablet and computer. Everything you add to Keep syncs across your devices so your important stuff is always with you.

Good app, but with serious faults
olsentropy on 8/18/2018
Been using this app for a few years, and I found it extremely useful. Great place to store ideas, things to read to save for later, shooting locations all sorts of things that you normally carry a notebook around four. However lately it’s become very buggy. It sometimes won’t load for a long time, sometimes won’t load it all. And it could use a lot of new features.
Regularly crashing
make keep great again on 8/18/2018
I used to love this app and I still want to love it. But it crashes multiple times whenever I need to use it. Can't even open it on a computer. Becoming useless. Google - please get rid of the bugs!!
New version won’t connect
stuckinabog on 8/17/2018
New version will not connect to the server, cannot get new shared lists or update current ones, useless in current form.
Folders & Widget
Ejaazi on 8/16/2018
Instead of a main page with notes all over the page, Google Keep needs folders much like Google Drive. It also needs a widget that displays reminders. Lastly, please change the yellow icon!
What happened
beyond495 on 8/16/2018
This app doesn’t work anymore. It just freezes up. I am using up to date iOS and updated the Keep app. It’s been broken for me since last week. I use this app a lot so it’s a shame to lose it. No info on google help - no way to contact the developers. Very disappointed. 8/16/18 UPDATE There was a note that wasn’t syncing between my iPhone and iPad that I couldn’t see on my phone. I deleted it from my iPad and that seems to have fixed the problem. Glad to be able to use this app again.
Should support face/touch id
Bobnoise20 on 8/16/2018
This is a great app, but it seriously needs some security updates. It should have touch or face Id login options. If not that then at least a pin.
Genuinely love, having problems though....
It's me your buddy on 8/15/2018
I used to use an agenda to keep my homework and what I need to study in check, and ever since I’ve discovered google keep its helped me dramatically with staying productive and doing all my assignments. Only problem is recently the app crashes after doing simple tasks, like editing a note. Keep in mind I’m on an iPhone 8+, and I’m assuming I’m having performance issues due to poor optimization. I just deleted and reinstalled the app, so I’m hoping that from now on I won’t be getting random crashes but aside from that, it’s really great
Could be a great app but...
nyfinestjc on 8/15/2018
This organization app works well across different platforms when signed into your google account via gmail. Only issue I see is no password or security features available. This is not good especially when you keep sensitive information as notes. At least give us the option of a PIN number password or fingerprint lock. Please update the app Google.
Love this app
KaliP99 on 8/14/2018
I use it everyday for lists and reminders across all my devices.
Love this!
ladygirl58 on 8/14/2018
This is one of the most useful apps I have ever used! All of the lists and schedules sync to my phone and IWatch. Also, I added my husband to share so he has a list of everything we need. All of his medications are in a note, so he can just open up the app and hand the phone with the Google Keep note to the doctor.
My notes are disappearing
therealjdb on 8/13/2018
Thought this was a great app until my handwritten notes started disappearing!! Normally I just use this for grocery lists and the like, so no big deal. However, today I took some very important notes from a conference, and upon reconnecting to WiFi, they are all turning into blank pages!! I hope someone can help me retrieve them. Otherwise, I am switching to a different not taking app!
Used to be a five star app...
One of millions... on 8/10/2018
Google Keep used to be my favorite app for making lists. I loved that if I switched devices, it would update across them seamlessly. However, the last two updates broke the app. It started freezing while checking things off the list with the update prior to the most recent one. Now, with the newest update, the app will not refresh and update across my devices, no matter how much I try to get it to work. It started with freezing and crashing upon opening, and now it tells me I need to “refresh”, but when I do it sits on a white screen saying it’s “Refreshing...” and then comes back to say the “refresh failed” and to try again later. It’s become more of a pain to use than it’s worth, so I just deleted it and will use the native list app on my iPhone for now. Hopefully when I check back in a couple months these problems are fixed, and I can start using this app again.
M.Frey on 8/7/2018
Please merge Google Keep with Google Home device like it used to be, concerning the shopping lists. Thanks

Great app if they would leave it alone
James Grasty on 8/6/2018
This is an awesome app and concept. Loved it until about 6 months ago it would freeze up when just trying to check things off the list. Now it’s constantly freezing and crashing while performing basic functions. Google you need to fix this and leave it alone. Please!
It jiggles
NanaPaula on 8/4/2018
I thought it was great at first. Then I noticed when I went to edit or add to a note/doc, it jiggled. I could not keep it still. I just cut and put all my writings on another app and deleted. There were some other issues, but now that I removed it, I can not remember.
nicegalaxy on 8/4/2018
Awesome app! One function please: sometimes I need Read-Only option for a note.
Misspatsycline on 8/4/2018
Used to love this app because it synced. Now, all it does is lag. I have about 5 notes created, and when I click on one to edit, it takes a good amount of time to just open vs before where it didn’t. Idk what happened or if it was an update. But it’s extremely annoying
No iOS Reminders app support
staunchnortheasterner on 8/4/2018
Why doesn’t Google Keep work with the iOS Reminders app at all? I’d love it to!
Bella is okay on 8/3/2018
Could you add Sort to the list behavior? It would be Very helpful to be able to sort by alphabetical order or date created. Thanks
You have to give it a chance
Larry.McJ on 8/3/2018
The first time I tried Google Keep, it failed. However, that was not a problem with Google Keep, it was my problem and not fully understanding how Google keep works. Once I adapted to its way of keeping notes, I found it even better than apple notes, which I have used for years. Google keep does a nice job of organizing with labels, making it easier to find things were search rather than categories or folders. The clipper used in any browser is very effective. If you use Gmail, Google calendar, or have any investment in the Google ecosystem, you should try Google Keep. Once you adapt to it, you will like it.
Useful app
Zhuewing on 8/3/2018
I really like the way Google Keep help me organize my notes. Only feature that I wish I have is to be able to password lock certain notes.
Not optimized at all for Apple devices
wheatbloom on 8/2/2018
I used to love this app on Android. And it's nothing like it on Apple. I barely get any notifications for my reminders. And nothing at all for the repeating reminders. Please fix this. This app would keep me so organized until I switched to Apple.
Used to Work Better
SuperDaisy21 on 8/2/2018
I love the idea of this app, and I use it daily, but it’s gotten really buggy for me. Notes will skip around when I try to move them, some will archive themselves, and sometimes they will select the note like it’s to be deleted when all I want to do is move it. The app is also way slower than it used to be for me, which is frustrating.
Great concept
SKW38 on 8/1/2018
I’ve had this app for a while now. I used this app with an android phone before making the switch to iPhone. Reading the reviews I was worried the app had started to struggle. Since I have a gmail account all my notes were carried over when placing it on my iPhone. I have found no issues. I don’t have hundreds of thousands of notes though I do have many that I would consider important. My thoughts are:1. It’s a free application if you want to pay monthly for a similar app they are out there to be had. 2. If these notes are important to you take the time to back them up. There is an option to email the notes to yourself. 5 stars.
Not working
b3autifulsinn3r on 7/27/2018
The app wouldn’t open so I uninstalled and installed it again. I was able to sign in but none of my notes showed up.
gkhong on 7/24/2018
If I make a to-do list on Google Keep, I’d like to have the picture line up w/ the unchecked box item, rather than it appearing at the top of the note. Is there a way to do this?
I need this app to work, it just doesn’t
Trump1260 on 7/23/2018
Somehow it seems to get worse with every update. Do not even try using colors to write on top of picture or document, it will crash within three minutes and you will lose all progress
Constantly needing to be refreshed
CML 🍾 on 7/23/2018
This app is constantly insisting that it needs to be refreshed, and has already done this to me twice in one day, despite having seemingly worked successfully the first time, and having made no changes to my account at all during the day. Why does this app, and no other, need to be refreshed all the time? And why does the refreshing render the app useless for a full three minutes?
Notifications aren’t working
Kalahgaiakwcuzjdjdbwqgajzjx on 7/23/2018
The app is perfect otherwise, but daily reminders aren’t showing up on my phone. Please fix it
Great app
Gaby the Review Writer on 7/23/2018
I love this app its super useful and great. However, the one thing i would like that would make it better is for there to be a bullet points option like how there is a checkboxes option.
Great app plagued with iOS sharing issue
slawt. on 7/22/2018
For the past month or 2, when I share from another app to Google Keep, it will cause the source app to become unresponsive. It requires closing it from the recent apps list and reopening it to be able to interact with its UI elements at all. I have seen this behavior sharing from multiple apps and seems only Keep is affected. Please fix and will adjust rating. I love this app but find it unusable in iOS due to this issue.
Incessant popups
Oncorhynchus kisutch on 7/21/2018
As soon as you first open the Google Keep app, it starts bombarding you with popups to sign in to your Google account. The only way to escape is to then power down your phone. Stay away from Google Keep.

Best app for organization!
Sirenia Garcia on 7/16/2018
This app is a great app for organization. Hi, I’m a teenager of the age of 14. In high school you really need to get organized, write down what homework needs to get done reminders on test dates. As of right now though it is summer and I don’t want to be just laying around in bed all summer watching videos or being lazy. I at least want to be a bit productive, so I was on the search for a to do list app that will help me feel accomplished in the goals I set. So I went searching and most organizer apps and to do list apps have a fee, which if your under 16 years old you can’t really do that. I downloaded a bunch of apps looking for the right one. For an estimate on how many I downloaded and deleted was about 8, which is a lot. On this app I can put my to do list, write reminders, and put pictures to remind myself to love myself and remind me that people care about me to. Those inspirational pictures and encouraging pictures I’d say help me from going down into the hole of depression. (I might be overreacting to that but it’s true) so I wanted to thank google for making an app like this! ❤️
Crashing and not working
MikeVall on 7/15/2018
I make checklists for groceries. Either the app will crash on me or when I check a box, the item will reappear in a few seconds and not be deleted from the list. Very frustrating as I have used this app for a long time!
Lag time is the WORST / now it won’t update
MMWirta on 7/13/2018
7/13/18 update: now Keep just won’t stay connected - changes or additions I make on my computer do not appear when I open the app on my iPhone. I try to refresh and nothing changes on the screen. When I try to log out and log back in, it tells me that there is no Internet connection, even though the rest of my phone is connected fine. This app is just is not worth it anymore. ~~~~~~~~~ 9/17: I love the interface and idea behind google keep, and the online version is fantastic, but the iOS app is pretty much the most frustrating thing in the entire world for me, All because the lag time is completely insane. When I open the app, it takes a good 15 seconds for everything to ‘update’ so that I can start tapping around or scrolling through my lists or anything. Once I open any list, it is a good nother 10 seconds or so before that list will become functional and let me start typing or tapping around. Once you start typing, about every fourth or fifth letter, it entirely pauses agaaaaaaaain. If I just keep typing away, it will take about five or six seconds, and then all of the letters I’ve been typing will pop up really fast but then it will pause again and do it all over. It is so godamn frustrating, all I want to do is type like normal, like every single other app will let me do. My phone is relatively new, my operating system is up to date, and this problem has been going on with Google Keep on iOS for the entire year I’ve had my phone since I switched over from android. I reeeeeeally need to give it up and just switch to Evernote. 😡😡😡
Keep it or lose it....
LifeisTheatre on 7/9/2018
Keep is no extraordinary app that doesn’t lead in a cutting edge kind of way. It’s abysmal to say the least and for all that google has done to lead in the technology realm-I’m completely appalled by the lack of creativity and enforcement of cutting edge development.
G-Keep Features Need to catch up
JonaJazz on 7/8/2018
Some features needed: - mix normal text and “check box” in the same note - photo can be placed on the page together with text
Currently the app deletes data and does not update
Only 3 deals!! on 7/7/2018
The app currently loses changes while you are typing, doesn’t save changes and does not update for other users.
Great App!
Mr. Jobs is still alive on 7/2/2018
Please give us a way to secure the App. Example: Password protect certain notes, require a password to launch the App or a vault to keep some notes that have personal stuff like credentials. TouchID/FaceID support would be a great addition.
This app ruined my reputation
rondo666 on 7/1/2018
I love Google keep so much that I sold recommended it to my workplace. Everybody loved it. Now to the three of us can’t log onto the app. And I’ve got a lot of egg on my face. Thanks a lot google my reputation is in the toilet.

Healthy_wife on 6/26/2018
I’ve been searching for an app to use to organize my life from personal to my business and now I found it. It’s everything you need in one app. Simplicity is the key and this app has done that for me.
Major battery hog
Edge601 on 6/26/2018
I like this app ... both its simplicity and its easy sync with my Google account. It could use a few simple formatting options (no bold & italic, comon’ guys!), but my biggest complaint is that it’s by far the biggest battery drain of any app I’ve ever used. Just 10 minutes drains by battery by 25%! It’s the only reason I’m considering an alternate app.
Awesome overall
Apple man21 on 6/21/2018
Overall it’s awesome. It syncs across all platforms. Is user friendly and has a nice, friendly design. Can take notes and set reminders. The one thing I wish they’d add is when you complete a reminder you can check it off instead of having to delete it. Checking it off seems a bit easier plus it gives a certain sense of pride.
