10/10 Would buy this free app again
Good App, Has Issues
Tilden Thorne on 8/20/2018
First off, this is Reddit and as such it is good for interacting with the world of Reddit from a mobile device. The app has a really strange issue though, it cannot seemingly keep an accurate or stable count of up and down votes. You can refresh a post and get a different count then you got when you opened or made it. You can immediately refresh it again and get a different value, higher or lower. Refresh it again and the same thing happens. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to how it reports these values. With enough refreshes you can get a good idea of the actual value but that is just obnoxious. Is there anyway the app can be fixed to eliminate this issue?
Constantly gets worse and worse.
nickisacoustic on 8/20/2018
This app started out just fine, but reddit has now made it so you get ads between almost every post on the front page. They also started randomly sending push notifications about posts that I really do not care about, nor do I want to be notified about and you cannot turn them off. Also, posts that should be covered due to spoilers are not at all, so it has ruined two of my favorite tv shows and one movie for me in the last two weeks. Worst of all by far is the fact that over the last month the app freezes every two seconds. It's unbearable. I'm deleting the app now.
Bad update
Orlin343 on 8/20/2018
Most recent update took away ability to click on pics/gifs and save them to phone.
Busted interface
Chadman on 8/20/2018
This app has improved in some ways, but drastically declined in others. Namely how to browse, which is essentially the purpose of this site. If I’m reading a comment and slowly browsing down, the comment threads shouldn’t close at random because the app thought I held the parent comment for a half second even though it’s no longer visible on the page. This has be come the biggest pet peeve with this app and has essentially made me think long and hard about considering to quit coming to the site altogether. It’s sad that you’re not allowed to browse comments according to the devs. You can’t turn this glitch off either, so if you scroll as you read, find LITERALLY ANY OTHER APP. Even if it’s not reddit related, it’ll still be better than this dumpster fire.
Useless videos that just stop playing for no reason.
Jidddo on 8/19/2018
Videos just stop. And don’t play. Useless.
Reddit’s pretty fun
chickneyluvr on 8/19/2018
I just joined because I liked memes, and oh lord did I get what I wanted. Memes galore thanks to this app, 5 stars!

kupecks on 8/19/2018
i really like reddit honestly alotnmore than instagram. im trying to kick up a youtube channel and instagram isnt doing it and i dont know why but reddit even though its not really like instagram it makes me feel that more people can find my channel.
Gimme my memes
Krotalwarrior on 8/19/2018
This app works to get to read Reddit on my phone. I like that :) no complaints.
slipk0 on 8/19/2018
It's just like accessing Reddit from a web browser, except its in its own app!!
New Reddit Fan on 8/19/2018
What a great way to learn, be exposed to new ideas, laugh, be creative, and more.

LykLIFE on 8/19/2018
New and Exciting way to connect!
Bugs prevent use
UllerRM on 8/19/2018
If you change passwords on desktop and log out other clients, the mobile app gets in a state where it can make no RPC calls, including logging you out. The app becomes entirely unusable, fixable only by deleting and reinstalling.
What R does for me:
Commoner365 on 8/19/2018
Exposing my eyes to light helps speed up my morning struggle towards wakefulness. I reach for my glowing holy book and read whatever nonsense, intrigue or practical information needed to keep my eyes from closing. For example, I just woke up. Once I'm awake enough not to fall over on my walk to the shower, Reddit is no longer in use until the next morning.
Atrocious lack of functionality
The Real Angry D on 8/19/2018
Moderator tools neutered. Basic user functions not present such as editing a previously posted post or comment. Markup features absent. This is by far the WORST Reddit app I’ve used— and that is downright embarrassing from the makers of the Reddit forums in the first place. The only thing this app does seamlessly and flawlessly is deliver advertising. Seems pretty clear what the makers were intending.
Maximus_1000 on 8/19/2018
PLEASE just add an option to filter out certain subreddits from r/all (furry_irl is just one of the many examples) I don’t want to see that trash and it wouldn’t be that hard to implement from my decent knowledge of coding.
Why I have reddit
AMiraclePerson on 8/19/2018
How will I watch memes other than in ifunny here.
A joke for the most part
Wowsers1 on 8/19/2018
Wanna WASTE some time looking at random blurbs, this is your format....proceed. IF however, you’re looking for advice FROM ADVICE subreddits, get ready to jump through all KINDS of hoops and ultimately get your post pulled. What I thought was a free thinking forum was actually just another app to distract the long Reddit, probably not even faze you and that’s sad, but your “matrix bots” SHOULD keep you up and running
Great app
Dani Vuitton 90210 on 8/19/2018
I really like this app there’s so many forums and places to talk and share ideas
Great app
overlordundead911 on 8/19/2018
Great for connecting with other gamers
Reddit is the holy grail
LLaComb on 8/18/2018
I can’t see why you wouldn’t like it. I learn new things that I can talk about at most any time. Also it’s a great way to find advice and if you find a subreddit you really enjoy you kinda feel apart of the family.
I think you need to ask me if I want the app more
Zoidberg MD on 8/18/2018
I think maybe upon the request number 100,000 you might actually convince me. Considering the rate you’re going, I figure you’ll hit that mark by the end of the year. Brilliant marketing, nothing says customer care like jamming things down your throat.
What Happened to 50/50?

Just memes...
I like it but I will have to give it 4 stars for no reason whatsoever
datboi datboi datboi on 8/18/2018
It’s good but I will still give it 4 stars cause why not
Site great; app so so.
Amused but confused on 8/18/2018
If they re-fix the "caching optimization" touted a month ago i'll bump up, but for now opening and scrolling always causes a full app freeze for a long time. happens repeatedly. Site itself is still a lovable eclectic mess.
Yeah ok
aaaaaaaaaaayeet on 8/18/2018
It’s ok
This is so much fun
Bootneyleefonzeworth on 8/18/2018
Yayyyy best app out
Love it no complaints
fortnite on a phone on 8/18/2018
Reddit’s great if you know what reddit is you’ll have 0 problems and you’ll love it yourself personally like it more than twitter but they are similar just to give you an idea
jbvcfhncgjv on 8/18/2018
Mods are gay
Happy to be here
kinda1sidedisntit on 8/18/2018
Really good stuff. Hard to tell if some of the pictures that people post on here are staged for the purpose of the funny caption or maybe photoshopped.
FoxMcWeezer on 8/18/2018
I do not want to open Reddit links in your app. Stop forcing me to use your bad app.
Reddit rocks
Rollergirrrrrrrrl on 8/17/2018

Keeps you informed, etc. Great website/app.
Thin_Socks on 8/17/2018
Reddit is a drug that doesn’t get you arrested. At worst you will be scolded by your boss for using it too much.
ohyeahhugo on 8/17/2018

Not working on IPad
Bcbgvdhhdtkfr on 8/17/2018
This app has not worked on my IPad for weeks. Disappointing
Skip this version
xJTWx on 8/17/2018
Updated and it’s crashing, slow, and inconsistent. There’s something wrong. Wait to update until they fix it.
Needs to be fixed.
YeHMen on 8/17/2018
Takes super long to load a post, and even 50 times longer to load a gif or video. It’s ridiculous. It even crashes on me when reading a post. So about every 3 minutes or so, I have to restart this god forsaken app. Please please fix. It wasn’t like this until the most recent update.
App won’t load at all anymore
Ehhhhh505047 on 8/17/2018
I love being able to not use Reddit!
A lot of fake news!!
Snaf4i on 8/17/2018
I downloaded the reddit app to check it out and I was almost instantly repulsed by what I saw. A ton of left leaning fake news. I was looking for an unbiased news feed and this isn’t it.
Moderately Okay
Alecs on 8/17/2018
The app has gone downhill as more ‘features’ are added. These new ‘features’, that no one asked for, are slowing the app down and are causing crashes. Overall disappointed that reddit would make an official app then just try and break it with every update
Love Reddit & the App seems good.
jsrfrench on 8/17/2018
I have been using Reddit for a number of years & only recently began using the app. So far am impressed with the App but still learning to use it.
Love that there is dark mode
Shawn Amack on 8/17/2018
It is very nice to have a dark mode. More apps should follow Reddit’s example. Also good place to organize ideas
Reddit, love it, redit
guywithnohandsguy on 8/16/2018
Yes, nice, great
Warning: installing this will NOT stop the ads for it.
dsp206 on 8/16/2018
If you visit the Reddit website on mobile, you will ALWAYS get the ad for the app, even after you install it. The app itself is ... fine. It’s just no better than any of the dozen other ones that are also fine and don’t fill your screen with ads for themselves.
