Don't upgrade
Mbodacius bob on 7/20/2018
Horrible app, keeps telling me to upgrade!
Not Ideal on iPad
Jonesy16 on 7/20/2018
Most reviewers seem to be reviewing the service and not the app, which isn’t helpful. The app works great on an iPhone. Unfortunately it does nothing to take advantage of the increased space on an iPad. The news feed is horribly formatted, especially in landscape mode, making it almost unusable. Would be nice if some attention was paid to how to best make use of the iPad’s increased space to provide an interface more similar to the web interface instead of just taking the iPhone’s view and adding white space on the sides.
Great!
Senorita1 on 7/20/2018
Thanks for this great professional website and application. I just suggest adding more features to the conversations like enabling sending voice and videos. I think the chat is still limited and needs to be improved more. Thanks for your continuous updates.
Identical to Facebook
Mcedillos85 on 7/19/2018
They created very similar to the Facebook.
app broken?
Knufflebunny14 on 7/19/2018
Not sure what’s happened but most recent app download has completely broken my app. Can’t search, can’t update the feed, can’t see contacts, messages. Everything just returns soft error messages.
Do not download-Hangs in iP8 Plus
بلال پاکستان on 7/19/2018
It is not working with iPHONE 8 plus running 11.4.1 So people using same r not recommended to download this app.
Account Restricted
Sassenach0603 on 7/19/2018
I haven’t been in my account since this last weekend. I update the app and now my account is restricted. Still waiting for LinkedIn to verify my ID but, I have no clue what I did. Coincidence? Don’t know.
Hurts your career
Integrity Review on 7/18/2018
LinkedIn crams so much garbage into the feed: ads, click bait, up sells, Lynda classes that will be a red flag on your resume—it all gets in the way of connecting with your business contacts. Really toxic and user-hostile. Did you know every like spams your contacts, announcing you have nothing better to do? LinkedIn’s responses here are empty appreciation/not sorry, dismiss as feedback, or divert to a link. Edit: called it! Mobile team ducked and ran
Can’t get to what I want
Lorraine Southworth on 7/18/2018
Liked the way it was before .
Another chronological nightmare
Farley213 on 7/18/2018
It seems that LinkedIn has joined the ranks of Facebook, Instagram and Twitter I’m not giving us posts in chronological order. The app is useless for this and on the site itself, while you can toggle to “most recent “ it still jumbles the lists up...gives you like 5 that were just posted then back to 1d, 4d, 1w, etc. I’m not seeing the people and posts I want to which means in return, people are not seeing mine either. However I’m also seeing the same “news’ post over and over for days now by a contact of mine. No one is commenting on it or liking it to bump it, it’s just permanently on my feed. (And seeing Stormy Daniels’ face every day is NOT why I use LI.) One more than thing...what is with the moving columns? Especially on safari I’ll try to just scroll down and the feed column starts to move around the page, or a column gets dragged around while I’m trying to read something. Please put the page in a fixed position, it’s ridiculous trying to navigate it right now. I use LinkedIn a lot. It’s a go to place for me. But it is very much getting to be non-user friendly and just more aggravating than helpful.
Bugs
Dani Springer Musical Artist on 7/17/2018
- Can’t control notifications properly. Some aren’t mutable. - Tapping on profile links in about section crashes the app every time. Update: now it seems like it won’t crash, but tapping me on view doesn’t open the URL. - Unfollowing doesn’t unfollow. Reopening the “following” page shows “unfollowed” users, which in reality are still followed.

How do I share my profile?
Marisa17M on 7/17/2018
Why isn’t this the easiest thing in the world to do? When I search the help forums, they just tell me about the desktop application. I want to know how to share my profile from a mobile device. Horrible UX/UI design.
Crashing?
KewlRNDude on 7/17/2018
App recently keeps crashing just when I get to an article I want to read. Very frustrating.
Another FB group

Just remember work history and profile informative have not been verified! Many people put college and degree profiles, beware ! Not true! People who provide false information should be scored as unable to validate! Un trusted profiles! Let’s score people !
Doesn’t work
Pvrtkr on 7/16/2018
Keeps saying I have no new, new connection requests, messages, or jobs
Latest version keeps crashing on iPhone X
Sooban on 7/16/2018
The latest version hangs more often than not. Overall, good for a professional social network and keeping in touch with coworkers that you do not want on other social networks. Ever since they moved jobs into a separate app, this seems fragmented and less useful unless u use it to increase ur prof network
Thanks

Works after update finally. thanks
Much improved after reinstalling
InformedCOreader on 7/15/2018
After my review below, I received a note from app support to uninstall and reinstall the app. Indeed, LinkedIn is much more responsive now ( though still laggy about loading articles) ------ So unbelievably slow, an exercise in futility. I had falsely assumed this app would let me access LinkedIn easily, but that is not so. I should not be able to pull espresso shots between page loads.
Cannot Clear out notifications section
tivline1982 on 7/14/2018
Every time I delete a notification, it comes back.
Terrible app
SFExpress on 7/14/2018
Slow to open. Constant interruptions and pop ups.
Freezing a lot
Omer1278 on 7/14/2018
What the hell did you do with the app. It is freezing alot. I try to kill the app and launch it again but it freezes all the time
Unsolicited ads
PS Lighting Guy on 7/13/2018
Please give us the ability to block companies that continually send us their ads. I get hammered by Chinese lighting companies who ignore my responses for not sending me their ads. I’m very close to closing my account just because of this.
CRASHES, NOT SMART, and BUGS WHEN SENDING REQUESTS
Mivanows on 7/12/2018
It constantly crashes. It keeps trying to add my contacts all the time even after run it for a few times. After sending a request it goes to the same list as over and over.
Constantly crashing
Rich in Texas on 7/11/2018
I am a recruiter, and access to my network is extremely important to me. Unfortunately, the app freezes and crashes every time I try to open it from my iPhone X.
Cannot post or search from App
jluphl on 7/11/2018
Could not post from App. Able to type some text and upload a photo, but not able to add a link. Additionally, the “Post” button is grayed out, so I could not post the info. Search function doesn’t work either. I searched myself, a page I manage, and another page I follow. App could not find any of them.
Linked In

Slightly confuzzling, but yeah
Contact list
edgewalker5 on 7/11/2018
If I read this correctly: When i accept a new contact, the list of contacts on my iPhone is provided to the new accepted contact and all his Linkedin contacts . If this means my personal private iPhone contact list is downloaded, this is not acceptable. Comments:
Messaging

Glitch after glitch after glitch
Arjun Singh Raleigh on 7/11/2018
Personally, it’s exciting to connect with other professionals...but with 10:1072 ratio of glitches, it poses a problem for people who want to actually enjoy the experience. Subpar experience
Upgrade to Premium on Mobile doesn’t work
jonny88 on 7/10/2018
I’ve upgraded to premium using Apple Pay on mobile and it says I have it. I’ve been charged but I’m not receiving premium benefits. And it says “sign up for premium” and I click it and it says “you already have premium”. Ugh. And there is no support or help articles on the topic.
Great, but...
dcb651 on 7/10/2018
I can’t change the language settings in the app! It appears the app has defaulted to my iPhone language preference. Ugh!!!!
Crashes in messages
Drick077 on 7/10/2018
Thanks for the app. The latest version crashes when opening a new message. There is no issue with existing old messages and they can be opened easily.
Awesome

New update app crashes have been fixed
13243546758 on 7/8/2018
This was a good app until the update. Now it crashes every time I try and open the app. Update: LinkedIn responded and fixed the problem, the app doesn't crash and opens normally.
Guys you are not listening
Fahed Hassan on 7/7/2018
No matter how hard we try to Communicate with you by email or website or application review ... the developer of the app is closed ears THE APP CRASH ALWAYS WHEN WE TRY TO SPPLY FOR A JOB , in the middle of the job application, always
Hasn’t worked for months!!
Lleevvoo11 on 7/6/2018
This app hasn’t worked for me in months. So frustrating. Log on with username and password and it just “says something went wrong, it’s us not you, try again later”
Terrible!!!
Jon smith401 on 7/6/2018
The steal of your contacts without you knowing!! You hit okay to the messages on startup and they steal all of your personal information.
No Phone Number
KC20132017 on 7/6/2018
It is unbelievable and ridiculous that LinkedIn does not have a customer support phone number. Online support is a poor substitute. Surprising that LinkedIn of all places would shy away from talking to a real person.
Stop bugging me
BrianSpears on 7/5/2018
“6 people viewed your profile” That’s the notification I get on my phone. Why do I care? Why do you interrupt what I’m doing to give me this pointless update? So I log in and you get more advertising dollars? I already pay you, respect my time.
Business Spam Central at your service!
Tinkabout on 7/4/2018
I’ve been on LinkedIn since launch and the last couple of years have really gone downhill. I value business people and the knowledge they have to share but at this point I’m about done with it. I get so much spam email from users who farmed my addresses that I spend hours opting out and sending unnecessary “Remove Me” replies to idiots who illegally use my data from LinkedIn. I’ve had to shut down accounts and my blacklist has thousands of addresses on it that I’m actively blocking... DONE DONE DONE!
Skills & Endorsements Section Error
TAD_West on 7/3/2018
Since last week I couldn’t upload the resume nor the Skills & Endorsement Section due to a submission error on my IPhone nor IPad, via the app or browser, today I decide to try on the desktop. Well I was able to update the resume via desktop computer. The skills section that we’re giving me the previous errors via the app I guess did save despite error message. However, I noticed I still had 8 skills I could add, well it appears there’s just an overall error in this section. I’m currently receiving a similar error in saving on the desktop computer. I’ve logged in/out & it DID NOT save. I’ve taken a picture of the desktop error, and do not have the patience to attempt this on my phone at this time. #FRUSTRATED
Needs to have endorsements available on app
KmSS42 on 7/3/2018
Endorsements can only be made on a desktop computer, please make them available via mobile device
Something changed...
500cid on 7/3/2018
App worked great until recently, now I have to uninstall and reinstall once a week... not sure what’s happening with that.
Not easy to use
DaniMac2011 on 7/2/2018
You can’t do too much on the app. The upgrade is expensive and I doubt it would be worth it. It’s not easy to apply for jobs unless you can apply directly through LinkedIn but most jobs don’t allow you to do that. You get tons of notifications for people’s birthdays. This isn’t Facebook; I don’t care when it’s a connection’s birthday or when they have a job anniversary.
100% Broken App, So Long So Ridiculous
trojmor on 7/2/2018
I've tried this app for well over 100 times over the last couple of years or more. It NEVER worked, always gave the "no internet connection" error even when on fully working fast wifi, fully updated iOS, brand new iPhone . I kept hoping they'd update the app with a fix. Never happened . Finally deleting it today. So ridiculous for major networking app.
Bad at everything but wasting time
quibbler on 7/2/2018
LinkedIn is the Facebook of the professional workforce; it tries to be all things to all people and as a result, does very little well.
Crashes
Thalesian on 7/2/2018
The app crashes every time I click on my profile picture in the upper right to go to settings. ##Update I followed the developer’s advice. It didn’t work - reinstallation of the app didn’t change anything, app still crashes when I access my profile or settings.
The news feed is garbage
B00K0F on 7/2/2018
I’m constantly seeing posts and articles and ads I’ve seen a dozen times or more. I shouldn’t be seeing posts that are 2 weeks old, talking about things that have since passed. Hiding annoying, repetitive ads does nothing to change the feed either, so you’re stuck looking at the same ad until LinkedIn moves on. LinkedIn itself is great but its app is terrible.
