Doesn’t work...
ZGALINEC on 7/3/2015
This application along with Peggle Nights doesn’t work on Yosemite. Wasted $20.00. Although it states that it is compatible with 10.4.4 and above, it most certailnly is not. Apple should verify compatibility before listing.
Mountain Lion not supported?
Aekiameh on 7/9/2013
I bought this game and upon startup I get display errors. I then have to scroll the entire screen in order to click on something and set fullscreen back to windowed mode. Which is NOT acceptable. I love this game and have played it before, decided to buy in the MAS so I'd know I would get a working game, but I guess I was wrong. Seeing how this game hasn't been updated in 2 years I am not sure this will be fixed and I feel like I just wasted $9.99.
Games Doesn't WORK on Computer
Sbragg87 on 2/15/2013
The game doesn't work on my computer. You would think a game bought in the APPLE APP STORE would work on a macbook pro, but it doesn't. It is IMPOSSIBLE to play this on my computer because of the issues it presents and SUPPORT was not only NO HELP it's been 2 weeks since I last emailed them with NO REPLY to let them know that their last suggestion didn't work. THis is ridiculous that I can't buy a game in the APP store and have it work on my computer.
Classic; one problem
Faragaut1945 on 3/12/2012
The original Peggle, kind of like a new age pinball made for the computer, is just like its sequel (which is more of an expansion pack) but more streamlined and a little easier. Still addictive as ever and a true casual classic, BUT there is 1 problem. This game, like it's sequel, doesn't fill up the whole screen (about 80%) and for a game that goes for ten bucks this is a problem that should be fixed. Even without this problem, 10 bucks is pretty steep, especially when considering Peggle Nights goes for the same price and is a superior game with more content and replayibility. My advice is to go with the sequel first, then pick this up when it goes on sale for $5-7.

I've always loved Peggle, it's one of my favorite games :)
Fun, but don't buy it.
AdunofAiur on 6/4/2011
It's unnacceptable that the game runs with black bars on the side of the screen when almost every Mac has a 16:10 aspect ratio (mine is 16:9). If you can live with playing this game with half your screen be my guest, but know that you are getting cheated out of your monitor space. Aside from that the game is very fun.
Luck not skill
coolsRight on 5/21/2011
Unless you can plot 4-5 bounces ahead, this game is mostly about luck and not skill which equates to an empty feeling when playing. Launch the ball, wait, make a sandwich, have a sip of coffee, check your Facebook wall and HOPE that things bounce your way.
Great game

Not a lot of games I like, but this ranks up there with Angry Birds. Love this game!
Game is fun; PopCap doesn't understand the App Store
reidpr on 2/20/2011
The game itself is quite fun; definitely worth the $10 - 4 stars. However, there are some hassles related to PopCap misunderstanding the App Store - 1 star. First, if you download the demo from PopCap directly (outside the App Store), play it until it expires, and then buy the App Store version, the newly purchased app will not run. It will claim that it's still an expired demo. (There is no demo version available through the app store, AFAICT.) Second, if you click the "support" link in the App Store and write to PopCap asking for help, they will ignore your request, say they can't find your registration, and refer you to back to Apple for help! (The workaround for the first problem is to very thoroughly remove everything from your hard disk containing the word "peggle" and then reinstall. You'll lose the progress you made during the demo.) Average - 2 stars.
Very funny

Great Game! But no Achievements?
Bronx's Best Apostle on 1/9/2011
Peggle is a wonderful game and I recommend it to everybody, but I am dissapointed that there's no achievement system like they're is for the Xbox 360 version. Those were very fun additions to the game. ANy chance they'll make it back to this version?

I am not a gamer by any means. But I love Peggle on the iPhone so I bought it as my first Mac App. It's awesome! I just wish the graphics were better in full screen.
Ehh, Its OK...
Ejb12 on 1/8/2011
I cant stand the two black bars on the sides though... Also the game quality isnt the greatest... Ok, Popcaps games are messed up! Peggle has 2 black bars on the side of the screen on my macbook, but when I hook it up to my monitor the black bars go away. Now when I play bejeweled on my macbook there are no black bars, but when I hook it up to my monitor there are black bars!!! Popcap, please make it so your games are completely fully screen w/ no black bars no matter what!
