What is going on???
Studdly22 on 7/19/2018
I have used 1Password for several years. Now I can’t even get in to look at my passwords. Why not. We have had problems with Apple in the last few days is this related???!
Love it

this application would be the best of all; if we had the ability to save photos
Used to love. UPDATED REVIEW
RLBinAZ on 7/19/2018
I recently upgraded to the paid family plan and after installing on all my Apple devices I started having sync problems. I have now lost 90% of my information on all of them & can't figure out anyway to recover it. Wished I would have stayed with version 6. UPDATE After personal support for my problems I have 1Password up and functioning wonderfully on all my wife's & my Apple devices. Laura on your support team really came through for me & I will once more be recommending your application to all my friends.
Can’t live without 1Password

How many hundreds of passwords do you have? Are they stored in your head? On a piece of paper? Do you have a hard time remembering different passwords? Well look no further than 1Password. This amazing piece of software collects and securely stores ALL of your passwords for EVERYTHING! All you need to remember is a single password (Hence the name 1Password) to gain access to your vault of passwords. Not only does it keep all of your passwords. It also is a password generator for complex secure passwords. 1Password will also let you know if you have weak passwords and if you’ve used the same password on multiple sites. Lastly it will also check against a database to see if your password matches a compromised password. Get this app and get the subscription. It’s CHEAP and worth it’s weight in gold.
Love this app!!!!

Love my app!
Good program but....
JBuTu on 7/19/2018
The program is very useful and integrates better (in my experience) with browsers. I do think the initial setup is unnecessarily fussy and could be simplified without jeopardizing security.
Update 7 a veritable disaster
grandgeezer on 7/19/2018
Given this was one of my all-time favourite apps, the trend is really saddening. Last update provided a redesigned favourites list (where it takes one more tap (of an area littered with differently functioning "buttons") to open the browser. Once you're in the browset, you can't interrupt the browsing session (switch back to the password list to check your security questions or let 1password re-lock) without entirely losing your browsing session. This is just some of the crippling functionality/UI changes introduced. Wlan server sync is now beyond flaky, that used to be always quite reliable. Whether it followed an ios app upgrade or a desktop app upgrade, I can’5 reliably say. As a general trend Agile are trying to move to a services model where you pay them to hold on to your passwords, and it seems 1password is increasingly becoming a portal for that business. If the acquisition rumours are true, I suppose that'll just become a push to iCloud. I have a problem with clouds in general and with entrusting them the keys to the kingdom in particular, so that a very worrying trend. I have 1password pro on 4 devices, have recommended/bought it for family, but I'll be looking for alternatives if its usefulness keeps slipping.

I particularly like the search function, which searches all fields simultaneously. The free version has sufficed for me, so far.

Great Password Manager
threejrs on 7/18/2018
I’ve used 1Password from the beginning. It is my go to app for password management. I especially like that the team constantly makes improvements and updates.
Nicole0041 on 7/17/2018
Yes I do really like this app on how you can keep all your passwords on there but... I wish when you got the app all your information was already on there so you wouldn’t have to add all your information
Dangerous and frustrating
Vegetating in Florida on 7/17/2018
Loses serial number no way to recover password vault or to log on to account at agilebits. Especially frustrating if you had a version that you’ve had for a long period of time.
Great app.

Stores my passwords and works perfectly every time!!
Always improving
Biensur on 7/16/2018
The gold standard for password managers. You can see how much better 1Password works with a more intuitive interface and they think of all the categories, auto fill logins, and generate passwords for you.
Only works half the time!
DEADITES23 on 7/16/2018
I constantly have to close the app and re-open it for the search to work properly. Please fix this...it’s super annoying. It works fine on my Mac, just not my iPhone. iPhone X iOS 11.4.1
I love it!
MTMEnterprise on 7/16/2018
I’ve been using 1Password for quite some time. I love the category system such as logins, routers, etc. keep up the great work.

This is the best app that will protect your computer from being invaded. Protects your passwords and credit card information. All you need to do is remember 1 password. Highly recommended to all. Customer Services is very helpful, pleasant and knowledgeable.
forgot master password- & you’re screwed.

I’ve had this app for almost two years now, and for some reason my finger print stopped working on my phone. And I’ve tried all my passwords I could think of and I have no idea what my master is, so now I don’t have any of my passwords! yay me. even had the paid version. lol don’t lose your master password Bec they have no way of you changing it if you forget it. all they can do is help you delete it. Which isn’t helpful at all.
La mejor

Been using for a few years, upgraded to the paid service with a trial, sent a question related to cloud security and was very pleased to learn how secure my personal information is, even on the cloud. Upgraded to paid service.
Brilliant, and getting better

Still the easiest, most integrated password manager. Does not require you to trust the cloud.
Great for security!

Confusing, doesn’t work
Chef Bo Baeu on 7/13/2018
I’ve read the instructions and watched all the help videos. I can not get get 1Password to work. It doesn’t update the passwords it generates on the sites I’m trying to use. The help FAQs don’t help. The videos do not accurately lead me through the process of setting it up. Now I can’t use the 1Password program and it is a total mess. It is not at all intuitive. It is not simple. It does not make life easier. I wish I had never downloaded it. Aaaaaaaarghhhh!
Doesn’t work any more on my iPad or iPhone. Used to be a great help with passwords.
VT John on 7/13/2018
Used to be great at generating and saving passwords. It still works on my iMac but is impossible to log into on either my iPhone or my iPad. The help screens get me nowhere.
What the heck.

Really Amazing Password Manager
PeterKrivoshik on 7/12/2018
(Short Answer) Ask someone who knows a lot about Information Security, a strong Password is, has been and always will be one of the best deterrents to having your personal accounts compromised. 1Password was so easy to set up I migrated over 50+ accounts, credentials and personal identifiers within just one afternoon. Buy this product, it’s the best $4 a month ($3 if you go annual) you could ever invest in personal ID loss prevention! I had heard about 1Password from Grumpy Old Geeks and Id always written it off as something I would maybe do one day. I mean granted I am a security conscious IT professional but there were limits to what I could achieve with LDAP, AD and SSO for all of my personal and private accounts. I was worried that it would be a tremendous hassle to set up all of my accounts in 1Password, but I was amazed be how fluidly everything works and frankly he easy it really was. There is a tremendous wealth of research and knowledge on the importance of a strong Password when discussing the best methods for personally securing your private credentials. In this rapidly evolving IoT and Cloud IT landscape I really can’t emphasize that enough, with SaaS taking on a prominent role as the go to model for product deployment (Office365, Adobe, etc.) it’s becoming harder to have some if any input into how OpSec is handled from the side of the customer. When we put our data in the hands of a Cloud provider, then they are hosting said data in weakly secured S3 buckets, its like we might as well leave our laptops on the front seat of our unlocked car overnight. The ability to define a password as complex as possible is in most cases one of the few decisions we still have a hand in (along with 2FA, please people always go for the 2FA). With that being said, there was nothing more satisfying than filling out every Password I use with the maximum 50-60 character limit and knowing that with even bleeding edge technology it would take on average 15 Novemdecillion Years (that’s 15,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years) to crack any of my passwords now. Doing so with 1Password was so easy that it got to be fun seeing how complex I could make them. Plus the 2FA is wonderful and the integration with Have I Been Pwned? Goddamn you guys really outdid yourselves here with this one. I can’t recommend this enough to everyone, just everyone full stop. Even if you literally have no online accounts at all, putting scans of your important documentation like insurance ID’s and SS# for immediate family is something that (unfortunately) you don’t realize how much you need until disaster strikes and you can’t find where the sticky note is you wrote Dad’s health insurance provider down on. This is a tremendous solution, executed flawlessly and for the price of admission compared to (do some quick math) the total financial commitment of all the subscriptions, account balances and charge services you have accounts with now, you’d be stupid not to take this opportunity. Great work guys! I can’t wait to see what updates you roll out next. -Peter K

Mobile App Great/Desktop Subscription App Not Great
MrMiagi on 7/12/2018
I really like the mobile app and how it synced perfectly with 1Password 6 with no subscription. I did the free trial for 1Password 7 and it was a pain to deal with. AND it messed up my Version 6 vault. Never will I submit to a 1Password 7 subscription. I will use Version 6 until the wheels fall off. 4 stars for the mobile app. 0 zero stars for subscription app. Zero!
Would be covered with sticky-notes without 1Password!
Cactus Sharon on 7/12/2018
A decades-long user of computers, I fully subscribe to the saying “garbage in, garbage out”. Several years ago I put 1Password on my iMac and am careful to keep it fully stocked and updated with all my accounts, log-ins, credit cards, and such. It’s now synced with all my Apple products and I never worry about remembering a password, URL, or any other data it takes to operate in this world. Never had it fail or burp, and I recommend it to all. Sure beats bunches of sticky-notes or some written list of the many bits of info to navigate today’s e-world.
Cannot live without it !!
bauer.net.au on 7/12/2018
If there was just one app I could not live without, 1 Password Pro would be it. You will use it every day from here on out.
Reasonable Product....very confusing security model...no help from support
MikeyButler on 7/12/2018
1Password was recommended by a close friend...bought a family plan immediately....sadly, had also signed up for a trial...found that some devices had the trial account and some the paid one....had trouble deciphering how to switch to the paid one....emailed support (no phone available)...promised a human response in a canned response with links to non-helpful topics....GOT NO HUMAN response for 10 days...finally poked around and found the answer..(it was easily to do but hard to find)....now all is working... Not sure whether it was worth all the hassle....didn’t have that with LastPass...but I’m suspending disbelief for the next month to give 1Password a fair shot.
Outstanding Password Security
Bernfrin on 7/12/2018
I have spent more money on password managers than I care to admit. 1Password was not the last password manager that I purchased, but it is the one I keep returning to. I love the fact that I can add or change a password on my desktop/iPhone or iPad and the changes automatically sync to my other devices. The software is outstanding and the support when needed is outstanding. Don't waste your money trying a bunch of different password managers like I have. Buy 1Password and you won't be disappointed. 1Password 7 for Windows was recently released the software is good, the design is terrible and customer service leaves much to be desired. The developers thought it would be a good idea to have constant harassing messages telling you your password is weak or your website isn’t secure because it isn’t https://. When I commented that I didn’t appreciate the software being “nanny state software” nor did I appreciate constant “in your face harassing software”, I was belittled and insulted by “customer service” personnel on the user forum. 1Password used to be fairly good. Now I would avoid, and I would not recommend to anyone.

Bricked App and Poor Support Redponse
2many2soon on 7/11/2018
1Password prompted me to update to the new 7.07. Even though it was incompatible with macOS sierra version 10.12.2, it’s still allowed the update without warning, something I’ve never encountered before while updating software.
