Love this app! It’s great for checking progress with things and you can totally personalize it!
One time reminder?
ArunGR on 8/20/2018
I see the app has the feature to track the daily, weekly or monthly habits. Is there a way I can set a one time reminder for an activity that I do not wish to repeat? For ex., meet someone tomorrow @5pm?
Effective, positive, simple
keknore on 8/20/2018
At the risk of sounding like an infomercial, this truly is as simple as they advertise. The options are extensive, but are not complicated to use. I very much appreciate its purpose and the results it inspires. In using this app, I have increased my water intake, made improvements with chores, and began a mild exercise routine without being overwhelmed. Another thing I love about this app is the ability to add a higher frequency to the same habit to increase productivity a little bit at a time. I appreciate also the option to organize by color and my chosen order of priority. It amazes me that such simple app can do so much. I didn’t hesitate to purchase the premium features.
Simple to use
AliciaPow on 8/19/2018
While I do wish you could view future days, I love the simplicity of this app. The user interface is pretty cool and it definitely keeps me on track. Love it!
It’s great, but...
Natprasm1234 on 8/19/2018
The app is great overall. So far I’ve had it for less than a day, and it’s helped me a lot. But, the fact that you have to pay around 25 dollars yearly is not so great. If only the part where you could schedule the exact time for it to give you reminders was free. That would’ve been perfect. It would help me more and I would actually consider having the app longer. Right joe, I’m just trying it out and seeing if it will work for my schedule. Other than my previous complaints, it’s great!
Really good app but....
Cringey_musically_person on 8/19/2018
I love the app but I wish that I could add more habits before having to buy the unlimited version. 3 habits? Maybe 5 instead. I don’t want to buy unlimited if I only need 5 habits
Yori Chan on 8/19/2018
App is really nice but I don't like that you only get 3 unless you pay
Not for me, hard to cancel
Debatergurl on 8/19/2018
I wanted something more from this than what it currently gives. It’s just in reminder, and says “you have a habit due”. I had 3 morning habits I wanted to start, and I feel this fell flat. Trying to cancel this, and it’s next to impossible! Really crappy customer service.
Poke the eye of Atlas on 8/19/2018
I tend to be a bit of a procrastinator. This app is a wonderful tool that goes a long way in helping me to meet my daily goals. Checking things off helps to keep me upbeat and encouraged as I strive toward completing my daily tasks.
Don't waste your time.
Memphis241 on 8/18/2018
Over glorified reminder app they want you to pay $24 a year to use.
Do I like this Application?
7Spud5 on 8/18/2018
My senior moments made for an inclined learning curve. However, it’s even fun and rewarding when you get the habit of doing it. Beats the heck out of Candy Crush because it has given me both structure and control over many aspects of my life. This is because being retired I need all the structure that I can muster, buster!
One Time Subscription Fee Please!
Very Disappointed 😭 on 8/18/2018
I would totally jump on board if it could be a one time fee, instead of an annual😓 Please let me know the verdict🙏🏻 much appreciated💋
Won’t sync with Apple Watch series 3
MelNH on 8/18/2018
Love the app on my phone! But, very bummed that it won’t sync with the app on my watch. I’ve tried everything I can think of lol it ever says on my watch is that I have “No tasks”...
maddie😅 on 8/18/2018
I love this app it helps me keep track of my daily chores I am very forgetful sometime so this help I like how it will show that you have a streak of like 3 I didn’t get the pro version so I can’t have more then seven reminders but that’s ok. I absolutely love the app
Good app but useless
IAmDJKraze on 8/18/2018
Unless you pay for the year, you only get to try 3 habits. They give you 7 days free trial but that’s not even long enough to gauge whether I’ll use it regularly or not.
Another rip off
Miles1505 on 8/17/2018
Requires monthly payment for reasonable usage
Not free
Kathy 1982!!! on 8/17/2018
Why don’t apps let you know upfront that there will be a fee.
April447 on 8/17/2018
I love this app. You can set a lot of alarms. It even has a calendar. It has different icons and colors for each habit you set, which could help you know what alarm you set it for. I’ve just started using it, and I’m very grad I have it.
Simple, effective and elegant.
PsychJay on 8/16/2018
In an effort to be more productive I set up a great DBTC/GTD/project management system using WorkFlowy. My work necessitates use of a calendar for appointments with groups of people to accept and send invites. But when it came to scheduling daily, weekly, monthly tasks reminders on my iPhone; I hit a snag. If I used iOS reminders, since it is synced with my calendar; when I tell Siri to remind me of something, my work calendar would be littered with these repeating reminders and what I needed to focus on would be lost in the clutter. Plus iOS Reminders just doesn’t work well as a DBTC solution if I used a second calendar just for this. Thus, Productive to the rescue. It’s well designed visually. It is effective, has powerful scheduling and is perfect for the DBTC methodology (Don’t Break The Chain - Jerry Seinfeld). It even had a calendar chain of your completed days. The “More Stats” each task has quickly become an essential motivator that I did not expect as it is automatically collated for me. It’s nice to see progress without the mental math involved to review the week & month. And the on screen phone notifications are easy to handle and complete one by one. I’ve severely limited the notifications allowed on my iPhone to become more focused on productive notifications. This app has a nice aesthetic notification. It would be nice if there was a description field for each task to expand on the name field. For now I just enter in a task, then when I completed the first occurrence add a note that serves as my description/completion instruction etc. then I can check back on it when needed. Also, would be nice if links were made clickable and open in a web browser. I put a link in a task note that goes to a web page of customer orders to check on delivery statuses twice a day. I have to copy the link and paste it. A unique use case scenario I’m sure, but would still like to provide that feedback. But it is not the purpose of the app so NO lost star rating for it.
Bill Fortner on 8/16/2018
Like what does it do that you can’t do with your calendar or reminder feature on you phone? It doesn’t do as much as I can do on my phone already.
MissLuxury on 8/16/2018
Waste of time
mtcwlxx on 8/15/2018
I was really excited when I went to download this app. I was looking forward to an app that finally lets you track your productivity for free. Come to find out, it’s a joke and you have to pay. I guarantee a lot more people would use your app if you didn’t scam them. I know I would. Maybe you could make the app cost money, not free just to open it and have to pay for everything. That would make a lot more sense.
Sync between devices won’t work
LibbyB1 on 8/15/2018
The sync stopped working between my devices. Customer service is blaming on iCloud. She wouldn’t even be specific and gave no estimate on when it would be fixed. I have been patiently and now it has been over 90 days and cannot get my year subscription back. The app Strides is syncing beautifully so will give up on Productive.
New subscription model no purchase restored option
Laurent381444 on 8/13/2018
Hi, I paid for this app before the subscription model was in place. Now I cannot use the app without being spammed by invitation to pay for a subscription. This isn’t right and people who paid for the app should be able to enjoy the app like it was before without all these interstitials! Very disappointing!
Buddy5653 on 8/12/2018
I didn’t want this app refund please. It is awful
Good but has a lot of potential
coldicemage22 on 8/11/2018
I feel like this app has a great concept, but is too pushy to get you to buy premium, seriously only two reminders? In my opinion it should be at least 5. Also life hack use the alarm to remind yourself.
So useful!
JessePaul33 on 8/11/2018
Alright, I’m impressed. Easy to use. Effective. Love the emojis (yes I’m a millennial)!
Poor Subscription Model
NotMeOrMyName on 8/11/2018
Too expensive. Driven by greed.
Great App
JohnnyHiker on 8/10/2018
I find this app highly motivating to help me establish new habits in my life. I love the simplicity of the design. This app has literally helped save my life. I’m a recovering drug addict, who lived for years practicing unhealthy habits. As a part of my program of recovery, I began to utilize your app to teach myself how to practice healthy habits. I made a list of ten things that I was going to try and do every day and entered them into the app. While I can’t say that I’ve completed all of them every day, I can say that I’ve completed at least 90% of them every day. Out of the past 28 days, I’ve performed all ten habits on 24 days. Those healthy habits have gone a long way to helping me stay clean for the last month. Many people, who I share my experience with about using your app, ask what ten habits do I try to do every day. I’ll refrain from sharing that list, because I believe the habits we choose to shape our lives are personal. By using your app, I’ve come to realize that some things in my life are nonnegotiable, such as, staying clean. Thank you.
rewytcs on 8/9/2018
It seems like a great app but i’m not paying like $25 a year for a reminder. It would be really helpful but that’s way too expensive. Only having 3 reminders is a joke. This is a total rip off. I would totally use the app if it didn’t cost that much money.
Animator711 on 8/9/2018
This is a really nice app to keep organized but I wold like there to be the option to do thing like.. remind me ( every other day ) and remind me ones ( every 3 weeks ) Or things like that. Other than that I would highly recommend this app!!
dartingtrout on 8/8/2018
I use this app daily, and I do see how it is helping me be more productive. However, they’re a bit cheeky when it comes to adding a habit. Supposably, you are allowed to have five free habits, which for a long time, I did. I myself whittled it down and then up and down again over time, and it wasn’t a problem. Until this past month. Now, I have three and want to add, but whenever I try to add one to the three I currently have, it takes me to a page that only gives me the option to pay for unlimited habits. I have looked all over the entire app repeatedly, and there is no option to add a habit any other way then to pull down, and when I do, as I said, it gives me no option but to add a free habit. I contacted support on this, and here was the reply (no explanation, no apology, no offer to restore my original 5 habit allowance): Hello Lily, Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately some users might indeed have only 3 free habits in the free version. Thank you for using our app. Best regards, Natallia (Addendum: as for developer’s response to this review seen below, they clearly misread my review. I was getting 5 free habits for several months, and suddenly & randomly, those 5 free were limited down to 3. Nowhere in the free version did it indicate that this would happen after several months, mind you, not after a one free month trial. I am currently in touch with Apalon support, and twice now, they’ve admitted responsibility, acknowledging that the issue was within the app dysfunction. But it took many back and forth emails to get to this point. And now, I see the reply below.)
Subscription is a joke...
1258369572946 on 8/8/2018
I would buy this app and I’m sure a lot more people would to if there weren’t a subscription. You would probably make up in revenue and more on shear volume. You could even run ads to make your money. And it would be better for your customers instead of making them pay every year. Plus the app is far behind other apps that only cost $5.. (one time payment!!) cough* Streaks app cough* *awaits comment saying that you can use the app for free*
This app will change your life
joey burke on 8/8/2018
I have just started using this app for the last week and it’s quite incredible. There is a lot of research being done about checking off your daily goals and the impact it makes. If you are looking to develop healthy life long goals I believe it starts here.
I’m sure...
Ken A-N-R on 8/8/2018
I’m sure this app is great, but it’s too hard to use. I added a category but then I couldn’t see it in the master list. I’d had enough at that point. There isn’t even a category for “Work.” I’ll look at a simpler app that’s more intuitive
Sleek app bad pricing structure.
MrAuditor on 8/7/2018
Subscription based is just terrible. Was very excited to try this out after reading reviews and I start adding habits and hit the paywall so fast. Think hey 1 time purchase it would be worth it but no $24 a year for an app I could easily replace with a spreadsheet.
Great app! However, one improvement is needed...
mom-n-wife on 8/6/2018
I love this app. Simple and clean with a visually appealing layout. However, one thing I really wish it did was allow me to go back beyond the current week to mark past missed items as completed. I use mine for my workouts, and sometimes life happens and I get behind. I want to be able to do extras other days to make up for the ones I missed.
This works for me!
pattywaa on 8/6/2018
I have ADHD, and this is the best app for me! It is so simple. The reminders pop up, swipe right when completed or swipe left to skip! Thank you, thank you!!!
Good app
Saborey on 8/6/2018
Price seems a little steep for something so simple, I’ll look around.
Good but has a subscription
MrsT2018 on 8/6/2018
This app is awesome and keeps you focus yet it has a 7 day trail then asks for a year subscription. Again, it’s great but I don’t want the subscription at this time.
Now I can start my week on a Monday!
cmbard on 8/5/2018
Love this app!! I’d be lost without it. I check it constantly. Love that things can be set to appear only during he appropriate time of day (which keeps my habit list from looking overwhelming) or as any time of day possibilities. Love that when I’ve hit my goal for the week, the reminder disappears until next week. Love that I can set reminders for any time of day. Love the bright colors, which I use to code the habits (fitness, work, personal, dietary, etc...) Love being able to look back on what I’ve accomplished for each goal and overall. Glad the developer keeps this app up to date, as I’d be lost without it.
Really? Thats all?
i.vette&m on 8/5/2018
I’m dissatisfied in this app overall. I have to really pay for all of the reminders and actual usefulness of this app? Okay yeah no, even the paid version doesn’t seem to satisfy my needs. Nice color and icon feature though.
This app is nearly a 5 star app
QueenBeeJ9 on 8/5/2018
I downloaded this app during a time when I was looking to improve some habits, and break others. I love the easy interface and the color customization. I also love the cross platform support - as I use my iPad, watch, and phone on a daily basis. What would make this a 5 star app is to see progress on my stats page for each individual habit. It would be nice to visually see the success for EACH habit, versus the success for all habits daily. I would like to see multiple colors on the stats page that align with the customization I chose when I configured the habit. I liken this to the apple rings - you can see how you are progressing against each one individually as well as across all three.
It’s great! but..
ethnicallyethnic on 8/5/2018
unfortunately you have to buy premium for it to be able to remind you by push notification to do anything, but other than that, awesome! 4/5 stars!
All ready feel’n productive!
321South on 8/4/2018
Easy to use app! Love the ability to make my items specific to me and my needs... super easy to edit if life changes!
App badge icon won’t appear at all
KS gamer 2 on 8/4/2018
I love this app however lately I’ve been experiencing a problem where I don’t see the app badge icon on despite having it activated and this is all the while when I haven’t checked off which habits I’ve done. Also now the sounds just turned off without me doing anything.
Great app but don’t like the sales pitch
Mhellison on 8/4/2018
I would have given this app a better rating but the constant ads for premium are really annoying!
Broke college student

Anyone know of an app like this that is free? Not gonna pay for a membership when I could keep track in my notes. And it’s virtually pointless to use without the membership
ewilly88 on 8/3/2018
Seems to be good app not sure why so pricey
This app is good but sketchy pricing! Be alert!
Kenchaucer on 8/3/2018
I couldn’t understand why I was charged so much for a years subscription, so I went to the in the subscription menu in my tunes account and noticed this app has two 1year subscription prices! One of them is $11.99 and The other is $23.99! I wonder how many people have been scammed into paying 2x as much subscribing to this service. Will not be using again!👎🏾 Edit: thanks for the crapshoot answer. You still haven’t addressed why you are charging me 23.99 when the app says 11.99
